A story for the day. We can be the mountain that yearns for company. We may be the bird that brings the song and seed to others. We may be the creek running down the mountain making everything green around us. When we let ourselves feel our emotions, our aloneness and our yearnings to be connected and together, everything can become green.

This poem, bird, mountain captured what I have been feeling as I clean my blueberries this early morning. Alone yet connected in ways unseen. Yearning to fly but not sure where to find seed.
