A GOOD FIT
Hello Dear Writers!  This blog will be my last weekly All Write Wednesdays.  (But I'm not leaving you completely!)

I am not sure what I was thinking when I got a 2nd dog to keep my first company.  This arrangement took 6 months of patient and consistent work for them to be friends.  I need to take two walks a day now.  Lulu (the larger dog) needs to be off-leash, so we have to go to the Verona dog park.  Snickers is taken around the neighborhood so he can make his mark on the various bushes and trees.  If I take them together they are just too rowdy.  Lulu is a beautiful blend of border collie and terrier mix (she even has a little wiener dog in her!). Snickers is all Jack Russel.
At this time in my life, at the beautiful age of 65,  40 years of being a therapist, 30 years of being a writing sherpa and 11 books and one child later, I want to integrate and bring things more together in my life. I want more time to walk my dogs, work with writers and clients, garden, (finish that novel)  and travel. I want to continue to offer classes and circles for you that help you to live your truest writer's life. So bringing these two vocations together will make more opportunities possible rather than less. I too am a mixed-breed of writing sherpa, counselor, educator and spiritual teacher. For those of you who have enjoyed my All Write Wednesday blogs, you understand my practice of bringing together the writing life with the spiritual life.

From here on, I will be integrating my two blogs, All Write Wednesday and The Zero Point, into one. These blogs will be for the writer, the spiritual explorer and for those who want to be in conversation and community with me and others within my network of people.  These blogs will go out twice a month.

One expression of this brining things together is my upcoming spiritual journaling circle: The Clue of the Red Thread: Spiritual Journaling through the Inner Labyrinth.  We will have writing prompts and move through the inner labyrinth (found in The Clue of the Red Thread book).  This is a monthly, year long circle.  We start in September! We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month near Madison, WI. Please email me to hold your spot or to get more information.  I am taking up to 10.

I will still be your writing sherpa, mentoring writers but I will no longer be a writing coach. Mentoring brings together who I am as a spiritual teacher, educator and writer. (There are some wonderful writing coaches I can link you up with if that is what you are looking for.) I also will be continuing my writing circles and one-to-one therapy.  And yoga teacher Molly Chanson and I will be offering yoga & writing retreats once a season.  In this mix of the various expressions of myself, my life feels full and spacious.  I am deeply grateful.
I am not downsizing, I am making room for what wants expression in my life.  I hope to see you in here and in one of my circles and upcoming  classes or retreats.  (I am holding a live, Zoom Write by the LIGHT class in the month of August).

In gratitude and Blessings,  Julie
