Counseling and Consultation

One to One Consultation

My “method” is to show up and be present with you. I borrow from a diversity of practices. I explore with each client in a transpersonal way, where you are viewed individually within the context of your larger life situation. This means, we do not isolate you out but discover what will help you by understanding you within the context of your day to day life and relationships. My background in cognitive-behavioral therapies, narrative counseling, thought transformation, systems theory, meditation, personal ritual, and Buddhist philosopy lends to a meaningful and transformative experience.

Various meditation and breath work practices may be used to integrate the theme of the given consultation.

I am known for my intuitive and direct way of getting to the core of your desire for living more fully from the zero point.

I understand myself more as a guide and consultant, like a navigator on a ship. You being the captain, you consult with me where you want to go and I give some alternative routes.

To answer some of your questions go to the Q & A Page.

I am available for consultation in Prairie du Sac, Spring Green & Madison.

Consultation for Groups & Group Facilitators

I have studied group facilitation for over 30 years and as a result appreciate the benefits of doing transformational work in a circle. I offer training to facilitators of self help groups and professional leaders. I authored a manual for facilitaiton of the eight stage healing process for those wanting to lead eight stage groups. Each of my books offer methods of group facilitation and participation.  My training is participatory and enlightening. I borrow from other methods of group facilitation, such as those offered through Parker J. Palmer’s books and the Quaker method of a clearing committee. I encorporate such methods as mirroring, witnessing, respectful participation, appreciative inquiry, mutual influence and established methods of group dynamics to increase awareness and growth for participants.

Do you want to lead a safe and dynamic group? Do you want leaders in your community to train in compassionate methods of group facilitation? Do you want to start up an eight stage group, experience a zero point circle, or increase your success in your existing group? Contact me to see how I can help at julie@julietallardjohnson.com.

My systems’ approach gives me a creative edge that results in a product that others can identify with and find accessible and applicable in their own life.

Counseling TEENS & Young Adults

My approach with teens & young adults is holistic in that I take a look at the teen in the context of his or her life. Together we find ways to deal with stress, anxiety, depression and other difficulties to reach a place where movement forward is possible. I use techniques that personally empower the young adult to make choices and take on practices that enhance their life. Together we focus on positive solutions and possibilities while not minimizing their experience.

I have worked with teens and young adults for over three decades. Several of my books reach out to young adults offering them daily practices of personal and spiritual development.
