A 6 month commitment to advance your writing, your mindfulness practices, and your creative awareness. We will come together two times a month as a practice community.
Mindfulness of breath, of our physical and emotional body, and of the world around us awakens us to our greatest imaginations and joy. Such practices invite creative breakthroughs.

You will be given monthly writing prompts, mindfulness practices and contemplations.
A little bout me: I started my meditation and journaling practices at the age of 16. These two practices have opened up the world of possibility and beauty to me. My meditation practices along with my writing have gotten me through the most difficult times and brought me home, again and again to self and to a meaningful life. I am trained in a variety of meditation and breath practices which include: Vipassana, Tibetan healing meditations, mindfulness, yogic breathing, Holotropic breathwork, and Toltec practices of awareness and breath. I have authored 11 books and have mentored writers for several decades.
Most valuable to me is that I walk my talk as best I can. I engage in these practices daily and often find myself stumbling into insight and creativity I didn't previously know was there to discover. Awareness begets awareness. Showing up consistently to the page, to the cushion (to meditate) and to community will always generate writing, insight and belonging.
The evening gatherings will be a time to learn from me and each other. I have facilitated circles for over 40 years and find such gatherings to offer the support and insight we long for. The format is simple: a brief check in from everyone (guided by me), instructions and prompts from me with time to explore together, the closing statements from everyone. The morning gatherings will be mindfulness and breath practices.

Thursday evenings are for an hour and a half, to give time to check in and build community. Wednesday morning practice will be an hour of mindful breathing along with other transformative breath practices.
