Bewitched By Backstory

At 5:15 each weekday morning I am up with my virtual writing support group. About eight of us have committed to “write together.” By the time I have sent my daughter off to school I have fulfilled one creative intention. This accomplishment lifts me up throughout the day. Is what you want possible? In any given situation what is truly possible? I use to say that my therapist saved my life. Now I understand, he helped me to see life through the lens of possibility. Creating Conditions for Enlightenment

  A friend recently asked me whether I thought that the chance for enlightenment only comes once — if I thought I might miss my one chance to enlightenment if I was at the time distracted (like with alcohol). What I know is that “enlightenment” is right there all the time next to me, right now, always. Or better described as within me. It is my responsibility to set up the conditions for it.
